Markets close lower on Chinese concerns

Markets close lower on Chinese concerns World markets closed generally lower Monday as concern over China’s volatile markets and economy continued to weigh heavily while a lack of certainty over US interest rates is also adding caution.

Asian markets closed lower with the weakened sentiment spreading to Europe and then to North America. Even a rebound in oil prices failed to boost the major indexes.
