Industry Veteran Warren MacKenzie has been tapped to take the helm ofthe financial planning division at the Optimize Wealth Management.

Aside from overseeing the overall financial planning path of the asset management group, MacKenzie will be working directly with clients. He brings to the table his over thirty years of experience in the financial services industry.

"I am thrilled to be part of the Optimize Wealth Management team. I have always been passionate about delivering advice rooted in sound investment principles to help clients achieve their specific financial goals. I look forward to continuing this tradition at Optimize," he said.

MacKenzie has been known for his advocacy for investor education and his interest in bringing transparency and objectivity to the industry.

In 2004, he launched the Weigh House Investor Services, which was certified by the Centre for Fiduciary Excellence. In his role as the founder of the service, he provided unbiased investment advice to his clients, primarily targeting to uncover hidden investment costs while still optimising their specific financial goals.

MacKenzie has also been known for his books on the industry, including The Unbiased Advisor, Zen and The Art of Wealth, the New Rules of Retirement, and The C.A.R.P. Financial Planning Guide.

Optimize Wealth Management senior partner and portfolio manager Matthew McGrath said MacKenzie's expertise in the industry will work well with the group's vision.
