The loonie is down around the 85 cents mark against the greenback and may fall further in coming months. The US dollar is strong at the moment as the nation’s economy is a beacon of light in the dim global picture and the Canadian currency certainly isn’t alone in being forced lower. The loonie is also strongly linked to oil prices which show little sign of stabilising. Experts say that the loonie may have further to fall but that should be good news for exporters.
