Lysander Funds unveils new fixed income ETF solutions

Lysander Funds and Canso Investment Counsel have launched two new ETFs on the TSX.

The Lysander-Canso Corporate Treasury ActivETF and Lysander-Canso Floating Rate ActivETF, which are now trading on the TSX, are each established as a trust under the laws of Ontario.

The Lysander-Canso Corporate Treasury ActivETF is now trading under the ticker symbol LYCT, while the Lysander-Canso Floating Rate ActivETF trades as LYFR.

"Lysander is excited to bring the investment expertise of the Canso team to the ETF space by continuing to work closely with advisors across the country," Richard Usher-Jones, President of Lysander Funds, said in a statement.

By investing primarily in liquid short-term fixed income and floating-rate debt securities of Canadian and international issuers, the Lysander-Canso Corporate Treasury ActivETF seeks to provide total returns primarily consisting of interest income.

Meanwhile, the Lysander-Canso Floating Rate ActivETF invests mainly in floating rate and other short-term debt securities of Canadian and international issuers in order to provide total returns that are largely composed of interest income.
