The province's finance minister was in Toronto Thursday making his proposal for a national body to handle enforcement and systemic risk public.

    This is odd in that it seems to be a reversal in Alberta's position. I know Doug Horner and I can see his office across the street from me. I'll have to ask him the reason Alberta seems to have changed his position. I agree, however, with an national regulator.

    Yes, I favour a national regulator, but not one where both the functions and the costs are duplicated.
